What is covered
The warranty covers structural and mechanical aspects of the product, including locks, gas struts and hinges, under normal use. Repairs and replacements under warranty are performed at our Hallam factory or through approved repairers.
What is not covered
- Damage caused by natural disaster or severe weather events
- Theft or attempted theft of items, or any damage occurring in the course of it
- Misuse, overloading, or use outside the product’s intended purpose
- Unauthorised modification or repair
- Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches from use
Making a claim
- Transit or delivery defects: report within 24 hours of signed delivery or factory pickup
- Email sales@utehario.com.au or call 1300 70 70 31 with your order number, a description of the fault and clear photos
- We will assess promptly and always attempt to repair first; where repair is not possible we will replace the product or component
Your statutory rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. This warranty is provided in addition to those rights.
